Aaron co-founded 4Sight (formerly known as Andrew Stewart Limited) with Alice Andrew in 2001 with a vision of creating a leading environmental and planning consultancy based on trust, integrity and respect.

 

The business was established based on Aaron's experience as a trusted advisor to local government around planning and resource management issues, and statutory impacts on business activities. Aaron is a real ‘people person’ and was adept at developing inter-organisation project teams for the roll out of large engineering projects, and the establishment of consenting programmes for the on-going delivery of infrastructure across cities. He also represented his clients in public hearing processes, Environment Court processes, and at the High Court. Always looking for a better way of doing things, Aaron came up with the concept for CS-VUE™, an online consent management and compliance tool developed by the Resource Management Technology Group that helps consent holders manage environmental risk. Aaron’s experience, passion and ability to build strong teams has seen 4Sight grow into an award-winning, multidisciplinary planning and environmental consultancy firm.

 

Today Aaron’s focus is on guiding 4Sight’s strategic growth and direction into the future, with the support of the senior management team and independent advisory board.
 

Aaron has a BSc in Environmental Science, Resource Management and Environmental Law from the University of Auckland.
