Aimily is Committed to producing high quality design and sustainable landscape practices.

Aimily joined the 4Sight team in July 2021 as a Graduate Landscape Architect based in our Auckland office.

Prior to 4Sight, Aimily worked at landscape companies in China and in New Zealand, where she gained expertise in undertaking site inventories and analysis, planting plans, and concept plans for subdivisions. She has a Masters in Landscape Architecture from Lincoln University and researched ‘applying Fengshui design principles into integrated farm layout designs’, ‘windfarm visibility research’, and ‘designing resilient communities in the Christchurch Red Zone area’. Her studies combined with her previous work experience have enabled her to build up her landscape design problem-solving skills further and develop a special interest in cross-cultural fusion through landscape design.

In her current role, she is responsible for providing concept plans, planting plans, and creating site modelling and is keen to learn as much as she can through practice.

Aimily is a true believer that nothing is more meaningful than designing landscapes that benefit people now and well into the future. She chose to become a Landscape Architect because she believes it to be an industry that will allow her to do that whilst also nurturing her deep attraction to the principles of Fengshui – the delicate balance between humans, nature, and energy flow. When she’s not in the office or out on site, she enjoys cooking, watching movies, swimming, playing table tennis, and calligraphy.
