BEN BELIEVES IT IS IMPORTANT TO TAKE AN EDUCATED APPROACH TO ASBESTOS MANAGEMENT IN ORDER TO ENSURE THE SAFETY OF FUTURE GENERATIONS.

Ben joined the 4Sight team in August 2019 and is part of the Environmental Risk and Safety team in Christchurch. 

 

Ben has 3 years’ experience in asbestos consulting including air monitoring and clearances, surveying, and project managing a range of residential, commercial and industrial sites. He has also worked with a range of clients including Housing New Zealand, Mainpower, Waimakariri and Western Bay of Plenty Councils, IAG Insurance, and Scouts New Zealand.

 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in Science, majoring in Geography, from the University of Canterbury, a BOHS IP402 certification, and a Worksafe asbestos assessors license (AA17090145). 

 

He fell into the industry purely by chance, but over time, has realised the importance of taking an educated approach towards asbestos management in order to ensure the safety of future generations. 

 

In his spare time, he is loves to get outdoors, particularly skiing in the winter months and fishing and diving in summer. He is also a keen rugby player, and currently plays for the University of Canterbury rugby team in Christchurch.
