Bex’s positive attitude contributes to her ability to interact effectively with others, build relationships, and share information to produce positive planning and environmental outcomes.
Based in our Tauranga office, Bex joined the 4Sight team in July 2021 as a Planning and Policy Consultant assisting our Bay of Plenty and broader Planning team.
Bex has a thorough understanding and technical knowledge of City and District Plans and the Resource Management Act. She has experience processing mixed-use, commercial, industrial, and residential resource consents and has previously worked for local government at Christchurch City Council and Hamilton City Council.
With a Bachelor of Applied Science (majoring in Environmental Management and minoring in Environment and Society), Bex is responsible for managing a range of projects from the preliminary planning assessment stage right through to granting resource consents. Her role also includes forming lasting relationships with clients, technical experts, and local government and presenting written information clearly and concisely.
Bex feels strongly about fostering sustainability and environmental management within New Zealand and enjoys working as a team to achieve positive outcomes for land, people, and water. She loves that her work enables her to be involved in central city regeneration and projects that ultimately provide exciting spaces for people to enjoy.
When she's not in our Tauranga office, Bex enjoys cooking healthy food, trying out new recipes, and getting out in her environment to run, tramp or mountain bike.
