detailed, proactive, and relatable - brendan is a reliable planner intent on achieving balanced outcomes.
Brendan joined the 4Sight team in April 2021 as a Planning and Policy Consultant based in our Auckland office.
With 5+ years of experience in the planning industry, Brendan has worked on land development and coastal works projects alongside local authorities and independent clients ranging from small and major private clients through to government organisations.
The primary focus of his role is to provide planning advice and assist a range of private clients in advancing their development proposals and prepare, lodge, and manage the overall resource consent process. In addition to this, he is also responsible for processing resource consent applications on behalf of a range of local authorities throughout New Zealand.
Brendan has a Bachelor in Planning from Auckland University and has consequently pursued a career in planning because he enjoys the variety it brings and the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the natural environment it presents. He particularly enjoys meeting and working with new people and that every planning project has its complexities.
But planning is not his only passion; when he's not in the office, Brendan enjoys hiking, running, travelling (especially discovering new places!), catching up with friends, and exploring Auckland's thriving restaurant/café scene.
