Dunedin – a big city with a small-town vibe. Close to the beach, minimal traffic and a city on the up. It’s the place to be, and what with recent announcements for a waterfront revitalisation, including the construction of an array of awe-inspiring buildings which can only be described as architectural masterpieces, plus plans for new pedestrian areas, cycle-ways, heritage restorations, street furniture, lighting and public art, Dunedin will soon be even more of a trendy, urban hub than it already is.
Mirroring Dunedin’s growth is 4Sight’s own growth, and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Planner with a great attitude to join our energetic and dynamic Dunedin based office. With a good understanding of the Resource Management Act, a willingness to learn, a desire to succeed and a lot of self-motivation, this role will enable the successful candidate to flourish within our award-winning, not to mention dedicated and fun loving, team.
Get involved in the delivery of resource management services to a broad range of public and private sector clients and provide planning support to our existing Dunedin planners. Be supported by skilled planning mentors and have the opportunity to draw upon the expertise of the wider 4Sight Planning team from our offices across New Zealand. There’s plenty of room for diversity and stimulation in this role too, including the potential to work alongside our other internal specialists such as Contaminated Land Scientists, Ecologists, and Landscape Architects.
We embrace sustainability and environmental excellence and leadership in our wide-ranging projects, and are committed to finding the best people in the industry because it’s the people who make us who we are and set us apart from the competition. Ultimately, it’s our people who will guide our company into the future, and this is a role that will enable anyone with a passion and drive to move forward with their planning career to broadly expand their planning and consulting skills whilst working alongside a group of like-minded individuals.
