Charlotte thrives on understanding stakeholders and finding a path forward together.
Charlotte started with the 4Sight team in November 2021 as an Ecology Consultant based in our Tauranga office.
Charlotte has worked as an Environmental Scientist in freshwater pollution, taught wastewater management at Toi Ohomai, and has advised the government of Tokelau. She is experienced in ecological impacts on water quality and mitigation strategies and has a Master of Science degree in Bioresource Engineering.
Charlotte's thesis looked at nitrogen and phosphorous mitigation from agricultural runoff using constructed wetlands, while her Bachelor of Science in plant biology focussed on structure/function, ecology, and evolution. She has also co-authored a number of articles in Ecological Engineering.
Hailing from Canada originally, Charlotte is the Speaker Curator and Director for TEDxTauranga, a volunteer role in the community where she is passionate about unearthing and amplifying ideas that change the way we think. She is also an outdoor enthusiast who loves being in the sea, tramping in the bush and skiing in the mountains.
