Chris thrives on seeing clients reach their development goals and goes above and beyond to ensure they are getting the best planning advice. His practical approach to planning ensures that projects are as simple and straightforward as possible.

Chris started with the 4Sight team in 2018 as a Planning and Policy Consultant based in our Dunedin office and forms an integral part of our ever-growing Dunedin team.

With a Master of Planning and a Bachelor of Science (specialising in Geography and Environmental Management), Chris has been well-positioned to assist a wide variety of Dunedin based and regional clients achieve their development goals and see these come to fruition over the last few years.

Chris’s area of expertise includes guiding clients through large scale residential developments and subdivisions (including apartments and medium density townhouse projects), as well as various commercial, health, and community-based developments. He is heavily involved within the subdivision and development space throughout Dunedin and the Otago region, and his work regularly involves providing planning due diligence advice for clients on various small to large scale projects and assisting with the preparation of resource consent applications.

Chris is also involved with assisting local government clients with resource consent processing and various policy reviews.

Chris’s greatest sense of satisfaction as a member of the 4Sight team is seeing the many developments he has assisted clients with take shape throughout Dunedin and working hand in hand with our awesome Dunedin team while on the job.

A lover of all things sport, he likes to play or watch it in his spare time and particularly enjoys cricket, golf, and basketball. He enjoys travelling to different places to experience new things, and it was actually his passion for travel that led to his fascination with city development and planning.
