Do you have:
-
15+ years’ experience in resource management.
-
Proven people leadership in an aligned industry
-
Active involvement in professional body and/or industry/network events
-
Experience leading the Planning workstream in complex, multi-disciplinary Projects
-
Planning lead in multi-disciplinary Projects
-
Credible public speaking experience showing technical expertise at Council hearings (policy or consent), seminar or similar presentations experience
-
Experience as an expert planning witness in the Environment Court.

Ability to mentor, develop and lead a team of dedicated Planning professionals
-
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
-
Proven experience in peer reviewing work of team member
We're looking for an Auckland Planning Manager that is up for a challenge and keen to get involved with leading a dedicated team of Planning professionals to deliver a diverse range of projects across New Zealand.
Working alongside a vibrant team, as the successful candidate, you will be assisting us in maintaining and growing 4Sight's vision for the Planning team and our market reach within Auckland and beyond by providing exceptional people leadership to our Auckland Planning team, and delivering high quality project management services to our expanding client base.
The role requires you to provide a high level of leadership, resource allocation, and project management across the Auckland Planning Team. This will include oversight and direction of contractual arrangements, supervision of project delivery to meet time and financial budgets while achieving the client’s needs and a high degree of client satisfaction. You will be responsible for assisting with the identification and recruitment of new professional staff in support of the Auckland Planning Team, as well as facilitating the personal growth, performance and development of individual team members.
You will also be required to assist with other planning and policy projects across the business as needs dictate, and to contribute to the growth and development of the wider Planning and Policy Team in accordance with the company’s purpose and values, provide input into strategic planning processes, including the identification and development of new service offerings, and the acquisition of new customers.
Finally, a key element of this role will also be fostering a culture of collaboration and integration across the different areas of the business.
