Emily Buckingham 

Emily joined 4Sight in July 2022 as a Senior Planner in the Hamilton office, bringing 12 years of experience working on behalf of both public and private sector clients.

Prior to 4Sight, Emily has worked on the development of regional and district plan provisions, reporting on plan changes and proposed district/unitary plans, along with the preparation of resource consent applications and Notices of Requirement. She is highly experienced in processing resource consent applications on behalf of Councils, and undertaking compliance reviews for clients across the country.

Across her career, Emily’s projects have particularly focused on stormwater management, growth planning, industrial activities, and district plan policy development.

Emily enjoys the wide variety of projects that she can contribute towards as a Consultant Planner and seeing the difference that good planning decisions can make to people’s lives.

​

​In her spare time, Emily enjoys going camping with her family in their Bedford bus, and spending time on the beach, hiking, and snowboarding.
