Emma Van Eeden
Emma is continuously looking to improve health and safety to ensure everyone gets home safe.
Emma joined 4Sight in February 2023 as a Health and Safety Advisor - NZ based in the Auckland office. Emma supports the business in all areas of health and safety to ensure that everyone gets home safe. She helps to create and implement solutions, processes and procedures, and embed a positive and proactive health and safety culture into everyday activities.
Previously Emma was a NZ Health and Safety Advisor at AECOM and was involved in the City Rail Link Project and Link Alliance Eastern Busways. She brings a broad range of Health and Safety experience, working across multiple industries including engineering, manufacturing, warehousing, and retail. In particular Emma has significant experience performing health and safety audits, developing and implementing training packages and employee engagement, as well as successfully gaining tertiary achievement in the ACC Accreditation audits.
Emma studied at the Auckland University of Technology, completing a Bachelor Degree in Health Science majoring in Health Promotion, and has recently completed the International NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
From an early age, Emma developed a passion for all things health and fitness. A personal experience occurred with one of her family members while they were at work in 2011 and this opened her eyes to the world of health and safety. From this interest, Emma gained an internship as a Health and Safety Administrator and hasn’t looked back.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys getting outside and exercising, or attending a group fitness class with her friends. If not working out, Emma can be found relaxing at home watching a good movie with some popcorn.
