4Sight has been delivering the Environmental Risks of Construction course, in association with the New Zealand Institute of Highway Technology (NZIHT), around the country for over eight years now and more recently, due to COVID-19 restrictions in early 2020, we have also been running the course via Zoom.

The course was developed by 4Sight in collaboration with the civil construction industry to provide participants with a practical understanding of the environmental aspects of civil construction.

It is specifically designed for Contractors, Project Managers, Engineers, and Principals, all of whom are expected to know the environmental risks and obligations of the construction projects they undertake.

The full-day course includes an understanding of the rules that must be followed, tools for managing common risks and a selection of essential minimum standards and current best practices in the industry. This course is essential for decision-makers associated with civil construction sites who have legal, contractual and/or practical responsibilities for project environmental performance.
