Georgia Tremeer

With a well-rounded range of experience and involvement in planning, Georgia takes pride in ensuring high-quality outcomes for clients and the environment.

Georgia joined 4Sight in February 2023 as a Planner in the Planning team based in our Auckland office. Georgia works with local authorities to process resource consent applications, and with private clients preparing resource consent applications for land development to find solutions to their sustainability challenges.

Georgia has worked in both the public and private sectors, for Auckland Council as a Planning Intern in Central Resource Consents and then as a Planning Assistant at Forme Planning whilst studying. Georgia then commenced a full-time role as a Planner at Forme Planning in November of 2020 after completing the Bachelor of Urban Planning (Honours) programme at the University of Auckland in 2020.

Georgia has gained a wide range of experience across commercial and residential land development, including policy planning and resource consent application processing on behalf of Auckland Council and resource consent application preparation/project management on behalf of private clients, Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities and the Ministry of Education.

Outside of her day-to-day role as a Planner, Georgia is actively involved in the wider planning industry, having been part of the New Zealand Planning Institute Auckland Emerging Planners Branch Committee since 2019, as a student representative, industry representative and then into the Branch Committee Chair role in early 2022. Georgia is also actively involved in the New Zealand Planning Institute Auckland/Northland Branch Committee as the Auckland Emerging Planners Representative, and in the National Emerging Planners Group as the Auckland Regional Representative. In these leadership/volunteering roles Georgia strives to support the evolution of the planning profession through resource management reform and provide professional development and social opportunities for the Emerging Planners network.

In her spare time, Georgia enjoys playing football, and exploring New Zealand’s beaches and has a general love for the outdoors.
