4Sight is a planning and environmental consultancy that embraces sustainable and environmental excellence and leadership in our wide-ranging projects. We’re committed to finding the best people in the industry to help guide our company into the future, because it’s the people that make us who we are and set us apart from the competition. Now that we are part of SLR Consulting, this means more opportunities for our people and clients!
Due to the continued growth of SLR Consulting within our Asia-Pacific Region (APAC) we are currently seeking a Health & Safety Advisor based in Auckland to join our team. We are looking for a motivated and energic H&S Advisor who enjoys working collaboratively but who can also work autonomously. As a rapidly growing consultancy with circa 650 employees in APAC (160 of those in New Zealand) and counting, this is an opportunity for a personable generalist with a wide-ranging knowledge, as well as the ability to learn and solve new problems quickly.
Reporting to the Environmental Services Manager in Auckland, but with a strong relationship with the APAC H&S Manager based in Australia, this role will see you take a proactive approach in:
-
Building supportive and effective relationships with stakeholders throughout our Asia-Pacific Region.
-
Actively supporting our service lines, technical discipline teams and other shared services by coaching, influencing, and supporting the business in all matter relating to H&S.
-
Sharing learnings, offering solutions, and providing advice and assurance of compliance with H&S requirements.
-
Identify and develop strategies to manage emerging issues relevant to H&S management.
-
Monitor H&S data, review and communicate trends, support, and conduct incident investigations.
-
Participate in the internal H&S audit program and ongoing review of our safety management system to ensure continual improvement.
-
Contribute to the delivery of the APAC H&S Strategic Plan.
-
Actively seek to understand the business and how it functions.
