Starting with the 4Sight team in October 2020, Jarrod is an Intermediate Planning and Policy Consultant who prides himself on delivering comprehensive planning and policy advice to his clients.

Having previously worked at Auckland Council for five years, Jarrod is well practised in dealing with complex resource consent applications and providing planning advice in pre-application meetings. His time at Council also enabled him to build excellent time management skills as he often had to work to tight deadlines, particularly on projects such as the Quay Street Enhancement development.

Jarrod decided to follow a career in planning and continues to stay in the industry, so he can have a better understanding of the relationship between the environmental, economic and social wellbeing elements that come into play when it comes to achieving balanced planning outcomes. He continually strives to promote and achieve this in his work.

Outside of 4Sight, Jarrod is an avid sports follower (rugby, football, cricket and basketball). He also enjoys overseas travel and loves to ski, whether it be locally or internationally.
