Justyna Garbos

Justyna joined 4Sight in January 2023 as a Senior Planner in the Planning team, based in our Auckland office. Justyna is focused on resource consents for our local authority clients.   

 

Prior to joining 4Sight, Justyna moved to New Zealand from Canada and most recently spent a year working as a Senior Planner with WSP in Canada on residential and school developments in  Ontario, and updated planning policy documents. For 10 years, Justyna worked for the City of Ottawa in various roles that included providing zoning and planning information to the public, processing land development plans in the rural area, supporting public engagement on planning projects, committee reporting, and parks planning.  She gained a Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Planning from the University of Waterloo (Canada) in 2011.   

 

Justyna was drawn to the Planning profession as she has a desire to balance the needs of the built and natural environments. She is motivated to remain in the industry to contribute locally to the global issue of climate change and resonates with 4Sight’s purpose. 

 

With a love of the outdoors and having recently moved to New Zealand, Justyna hopes to explore all of our varied landscapes by going tramping, camping and swimming.
