Katie
Eglesfield

Katie is passionate about the integration of thriving communities and green spaces within our urban environments. 

Katie started at 4Sight in June 2021 as an Intern based in our Dunedin office and became a Graduate Planning and Policy Consultant in January 2023. 

 

Katie prepares and processes resource consents for clients and on behalf of councils, provides planning advice to clients and stakeholders, and assesses statutory requirements. Katie completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Planning, with Merit from Massey University in 2023, and holds two bachelor’s degrees in Land Planning and Development, and Music.  

 

Prior to joining 4Sight, Katie worked as a Surveyor in New Zealand and in the UK and has four years’ experience in the Land Development field. Katie moved into a planning role as she is passionate about community and design led projects, and quality housing. 

 

Katie loves singing and skiing, so in her spare time can be found singing with local musicians or teaching her children to ski up the slopes in Central Otago.
