Kendall uses her well-rounded Ecology experience to provide the best outcomes for her clients and the environment.

Kendall joined 4Sight in October 2022 as an Ecologist in the Ecology team, based in our Tauranga office.

Kendall is experienced in a wide range of ecology disciplines including marine, coastal, freshwater, wetland and terrestrial, all within New Zealand. she gained a Masters in Marine Ecology from The University of Auckland in 2019, which focused on the impact of recreational vessel noise on marine soundscapes. Kendall has a particular interest in the anthropogenic impact of the marine world, and believes that we need to find a balance between human impacts and ecological outcomes.

During her previous work as a Consultant, her projects ranged from identifying ecological features, assessing ecological values and associated ecological impacts, as well as providing ecological advice covering a range of ecological input (freshwater, terrestrial, wetland, and marine). Her client’s included Council,  housing subdivisions, solar farms, and private park land development.

Being able to assess and manage the impacts people impose on the environment, and ensuring sustainable outcomes and good decision-making, inspired Kendall to seek a career as a Consultant Ecologist. She is driven to advise clients on the best outcome for their projects and our environment.

Outside of work, Kendall can be found at the beach during the summer, most likely in the water.  She loves going for a snorkel and has recently jumped into Crossfit.
