KEREN'S FOCUSED TENACITY ENSURES THAT NO STONE IS LEFT UNTURNED.

Keren is 4Sight's Ecology Manager and Principal Freshwater Ecologist. Her work sees her designing, managing and implementing surveys; carrying out ecological impact assessments; and producing detailed reports based on her findings for private, corporate and local government clients.

Keren works with a variety of stakeholders on her projects and urban development, transport, quarrying and the dairy industry are just a few examples of the different sectors she's worked with over the years.

Her extremely high level of technical expertise has been gained through years of experience working in streams, rivers and wetlands all over New Zealand. Sampling fish and macroinvertebrate communities, carrying out assessments of habitat features and analysing water quality in a variety of different environments are just a few of the projects she has worked on over the years.

Keren often works alongside other professionals such as engineers, planners, designers and contractors to identify ecological constraints and identify opportunities to mitigate damage – with the aim of achieving sustainable outcomes for the project.

She also has experience preparing and presenting expert ecological evidence on a variety of projects at Council, Housing Accord and Special Housing Areas (HASHA) and Environment Court hearings.
