Lisa thrives on solving complex resource management challenges and working collaboratively to deliver outcomes that benefit clients, communities and the environment. 

Lisa joined 4Sight in September 2021 and manages the Dunedin team working across Otago and Southland. As a Principal Planning and Policy Consultant, Lisa similarly supports our Planners nationally with resource management strategy, policy and resource consenting. 

Lisa brings a breadth of local government and private sector planning experience to 4Sight, having spent the first eight years of her career in local, regional and unitary authorities across Auckland and Otago and operating in the consulting space since 2017.  Lisa draws on her understanding and application of planning processes across New Zealand and applies an integrated and collaborative approach to projects to achieve best practice outcomes. 

Lisa’s local government and private sector planning experience spans spatial and strategic planning, resource consenting, plan changes and reviews, compliance, practice and training, and research and effectiveness reporting. Lisa has successfully led a number of significant and complex planning projects and has an excellent track record of timely project delivery that demonstrates apt strategic problem solving and prudent risk mitigation. 

Lisa’s key strengths are her collaborative and inclusive approach to leading interdisciplinary teams and working with diverse stakeholder needs. She is skilled and experienced in leading, coordinating, and facilitating consultation, engagement, and partnership programmes with manawhenua, stakeholders, and communities. She is also comfortable working at pace in a challenging and changing legislative and regulatory landscape.

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Geography and a Masters in Environmental Planning from the University of Waikato, and in her spare time, she loves getting outdoors and getting stuck into the gardens and renovations at her home in Port Chalmers.
