Louise has more than 20 years of experience as a Planner, having undertaken work in both the public and private sectors.

In her various roles, Louise has been involved in the preparation and process management of various statutory approval applications, including designations, land use and subdivision resource consents (notified), and water and discharge permits. Louise has also been involved with several private sector clients managing the consenting process from inception to completion.

​

Louise has attended hearings and environment court mediation as both applicant and Council Planner for a range of activities. She has established relationships with a number of local Councils and a range of experts, including engineers, architects, and surveyors. She is also familiar with a range of district and regional planning documents.

When she's not working, Louise is very family orientated, as she has three boys and a husband to take care of and comes from a large extended family. She's a long term Chiefs member and rugby supporter, and jet boating is a favourite family pastime. If she's not watching or managing the kid's sports such as rugby, soccer and cricket in her spare time, you will most likely find her reading or sewing.
