Lucia brings pragmatic, analytical, and creative thinking to projects and enjoys delivering efficient, solutions focused results.
Lucia joined 4Sight in February 2023 as a Landscape Architect / Landscape Planner based in the Ōtautahi / Christchurch office.
Lucia’s role is focused on landscape assessment and related project design for local and regional authorities, along with private sector clients.
Previous to joining 4Sight, Lucia enjoyed working on a variety of projects in the parks sector throughout New Zealand, including park and revegetation design, river corridor master planning, reserve management planning, landscape assessments, recreation reviews, visualisations, trail network feasibility, design, and project management alongside public and stakeholder consultation.
She has also completed postgraduate study in the parks realm and in addition is completing a master’s degree evaluating shade cover with an equity perspective across the Christchurch parks network for the Cancer Society. Lucia is also exploring her thesis topic further during an international think tank programme, Emerging Urban Leaders sponsored by Salzberg Global Seminar and World Urban Parks.
Outside the office Lucia gets outdoors as much as possible by mountain biking, hiking and travelling with the occasional session of rock-climbing, aerial yoga and surfing to name a few!
