MAX LOVES NOTHING MORE THAN SHARING HIS 30+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE WITH THE TEAM.
Max lends his meticulous mind to a variety of client projects. He carries out development planning and environmental investigation work on electrical supply, marina, residential, industrial plant, port and tourism projects for our public and private sector clients.
Max has over 30 years of experience working on environmental and transportation planning projects. Over the years he's worked for a territorial authority, a regional council and several different consultancies. During that time he's worn many hats - as an investigator, a project manager, a technical expert and a mediator.
Max has had some major successes over the course of his career. These include being granted resource consents for eight marina projects, the most recent being for the Orakei and Sandspit marinas. He has also helped clients initiate and develop successful bush lot, farm park and residential subdivisions, along with a retirement village.
Max also managed the preparation of the first Northland Regional Policy Statement and the first Kaipara District Plan. He saw the latter through to being made operative after successful mediation of the appeals. He has also undertaken planning policy work for the former Auckland and Manukau City Councils, and has been involved as an expert witness in several private plan changes.
