Max Turver

Max is passionate about working with people to create sustainable and innovative environmental outcomes.

Max joined 4Sight in March 2023 as an Intermediate Planner in the Planning team, based in our Wellington office.  Max manages, prepares and processes regional and district resource consent applications, and collaborates with various stakeholders. He is looking forward to also getting involved in the extensive policy work delivered by the Wellington team.

Having worked in land development for over three years, Max is particularly experienced in this area of planning and has primarily worked on preparing and processing regional and district resource consent applications. He is also experienced in working with a variety of stakeholders including iwi, central government and community focus groups.

Max gained his Bachelor of Resource and Environmental Planning from Massey University after studying for four years in Palmerston North and is also an Intermediate New Zealand Planning Institute member and has recently joined the Wellington Emerging Planners Committee.

With a passion for the environment and supporting communities, Max gains a sense of pride from contributing to projects that create positive change for the environment and the wider community.

From growing up in a rural area called Reikorangi on the Kāpiti Coast, Max gained an early appreciation for New Zealand’s great outdoors and enjoyed venturing out into the hills of the Tararua Rangers. He also loves sport, including golf, football, handball and tramping – and is a huge fan of Leeds United.
