MICHELLE HAS A WELL-DEVELOPED PLANNING AND PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILL SET AND A FANTASTIC ABILITY TO DEVELOP GOOD WORKING RELATIONSHIPS WITH CLIENTS AND THE COUNCIL.
Michelle started with the 4Sight team in January 2019 as a Senior Planning and Policy Consultant working alongside the Planning and Policy team to obtain resource consents for clients (primarily within the oil industry) and to assist with policy work e.g. reviewing district plans, stormwater and trade waste bylaws, and global consents.
With a Masters of Resource and Environmental Planning (with distinction), her previous experience includes 3 years in Tauranga as a Consultant Planner working with private clients and processing consents for Council, 5 years in London working in senior consenting roles and as a special project officer for the London Borough of Southwark, and 5 years with Burton Planning Consultants.
She is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute and is passionate about development, working with clients and shaping projects to achieve the best possible results for both her clients and the environment. An outdoors enthusiast, when she’s not in the office, she loves spending time with her two children, particularly at the beach, surfing, swimming and fishing. She also loves running, horse riding and tramping.
