Do you want to join a New Zealand consultancy that is a little bit different? We're looking for a People and Internal Communications Advisor that is up for a challenge and keen to get involved with a diverse range of people and teams across New Zealand.
As the People and Internal Communications Advisor, you will primarily be responsible for providing first level HR advice and support to people leaders and our team members through the full employee experience and lifecycle. In conjunction with the Marketing/Brand team, you will also be responsible for 4Sight Consulting's internal communications such as our weekly newsletters, policy notifications, details of tenders/work won, and other people's information/news. You will ensure that your people and internal communications service provides efficient support to the business, as well as ensuring we have suitable processes implemented and maintained to continue to develop 4Sight's market reputation as a great company to work for and do business with, and to contribute to revenue growth and profitability, in accordance with our purpose and values.
We are looking to achieve, and are committing to, significant growth over at least the next three years; therefore, you will be required to provide input into our People and Business Support processes and assist with the implementation of specific elements of these. This will include process improvements across the employee lifecycle – talent acquisition, induction and onboarding, employee experience, performance review and management, learning and development, remuneration reviews, and offboarding.
Based in Auckland, the People and Internal Communications Advisor will be expected to provide people administration services across the business, ensuring a consistent approach and a high level of attention to detail. To ensure this is achieved, you will be fully across the current HR and employment legislation frameworks and will constantly monitor and amend 4Sight's templates and processes to minimise risk to the business.
You will be comfortable working through problems, dealing with ambiguity and complexity, different people and styles, and providing effective solutions. A key component will be successful stakeholder management and change management, with some experience in implementing new people initiatives and programmes. You will also be able to communicate effectively (both verbally and written) with all levels of the organisation and be able to present and, as needed, facilitate internal training and onboarding learning events. Your honed communication skills will also be utilised for our internal communications initiatives.
Sustainable growth relies on maintaining strong existing internal and external customer relationships, and therefore the role requires ensuring high levels of quality assurance and customer service are maintained.
A key element of this role will also be helping to foster a culture of collaboration and integration across the different areas of business and offices and maintaining confidences where appropriate, and being seen as a "trusted advisor".
4Sight is a planning and environmental consultancy that embraces sustainable and environmental excellence and leadership in our wide-ranging projects. We're committed to finding the best people in the industry to help guide our company into the future because it's the people that make us who we are and set us apart from the competition.
