MORGAN IS DRIVEN, WITH A STRONG DEVOTION TO PLANNING AND ITS FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
Joining the 4Sight team in April 2019, Morgan is an Intermediate Planning and Policy Consultant, based in Dunedin, whose breadth of knowledge and experience makes her a strong addition to the 4Sight Planning team.
She has a degree in Arts from the University of Otago, specialising in Geography and History, and is responsible for preparing and processing resource consents, planning inquiries and research, providing advice to stakeholders, and assessing statutory planning requirements.
Prior to her time at 4Sight, Morgan worked at the Clutha District Council as the sole dedicated planner for all day-to-day resource management and planning operations. The role enabled her to develop a deep understanding of land use and subdivision resource consents, building consents, compliance and monitoring, and policy submissions on behalf of Council.
She is a passionate advocate for the planning disciplines’ future and is heavily involved with the NZPIs Emerging Planners Group. Her work with the NZPI ranges from representing her region to being in the core working group who developed the institutes 2019 strategic plan. And her sentiment for continuous learning doesn’t stop there, Morgan is also currently working towards completing her Masters in Planning at Otago University.
