KIRSTEN BELIEVES IN A BETTER WORLD, AND SHE’S WORKING TIRELESSLY ON MANY FRONTS TO ACHIEVE IT.
Kirsten’s current position with 4Sight involves assisting with resource consents, administration, planning inquiries and research. Kirsten also aids in providing advice to stakeholders as well as assessing statutory planning requirements. She is highly-motivated, and is pouring that energy into our projects here.
Alongside her degree, which included environmental, policy, social policy, Treaty of Waitangi and urban design papers, Kirsten also puts a great deal of energy into volunteer and part-time work. She was a fundraising promoter for nearly two years with World Vision New Zealand and also worked in sales and advertising for child sponsorship in different environments. Kirsten also represented and promoted World Vision at community events. For two years she accompanied international students on excursions to Auckland tourist attractions as a guide. Before that she was a volunteer Youth Leader at Forrest Hill Presbyterian Church, organising and running events and studies, and preparing lessons for group members.
We’re lucky to have someone on staff whose youth, enthusiasm and idealism are exactly what is needed to preserve our land and waterways.
