KELLY WORKS COLLABORATIVELY TO BUILD EFFECTIVE RELATIONSHIPS AND TAKES AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO POLICY AND CONSENTING
Kelly is a dynamic and driven planner, who takes initiative to identify opportunities and manage risks. Kelly is a full member of NZPI with extensive planning and policy experience, within and consulting to central and local government, state-owned enterprises, iwi and Māori entities.
Kelly formulates environmental assessments and approval strategies for significant land use and regional consents, notices of requirement and outline plans/waivers; advises, develops and implements policy; and prepares and presents submissions, planning evidence and hearing statements. Kelly is experienced in partnering and engaging with whānau, hapū and iwi Māori, knowledgeable in tikanga Māori and has growing te reo Māori competencies.
A keen mountain biker, freediver and surfer with a passion for travel, he is currently furthering his knowledge with studies at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
