Kelly is focussed on delivering best practice resource management and environmental outcomes for our clients. He has formulated environmental assessments and approval strategies, obtained approvals, and prepared submissions and hearing statements. He provides expert environmental consenting and compliance advice, including having facilitated approval and environmental processes for Transpower's largest maintenance project.
Kelly’s experience includes engaging with applicants, councils, iwi authorities, the community, and a variety of agencies to enable appropriate development. He has worked with parties such as Auckland Transport, Auckland Council, Transpower, Heritage New Zealand, Department of Conservation, Ministry for the Environment, and NIWA.
A keen mountain biker, freediver and surfer with a passion for travel, Kelly is knowledgeable in Tikanga Māori with growing Te Reo Māori competencies. He is currently furthering his knowledge with studies at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa.
