WITH A BACKGROUND IN EFFICIENCY AND EFFECTIVENESS MEGAN HAS NO QUALMS ABOUT GETTING GOOD PLANNING AND POLICY RESULTS
Having recently returned from a big trip travelling through Europe Megan has joined us with a fresh pair of eyes and brings with her a wealth of policy knowledge and thirst to extend and expand her planning skills.
Megan has over three years’ experience in resource management, with a strong focus on policy development. She has a solid understanding of the Resource Management Act 1991, the statutory planning process, and how to apply these in the processing of resource consent applications.
In a previous role at Gisborne District Council Megan was heavily involved in setting up a new framework for efficiency and effectiveness monitoring. As a result of this work she has contributed to the Planning Quarterly Magazine and has presented her work at the Australasian Natural Hazards Conference.
Megan, a keen equestrian, visits her hometown Gisborne as often as she can, both to see her horses and family.
