Throughout her studies she spent extensive amounts of time in the field, in both New Zealand and Australia, and as a result is highly skilled in a variety of sampling techniques, data analysis and reporting. She has also completed student internships in both geotechnical and ecological consultancies, making her familiar with environmental practice and management across the public and private sector.
Shannen is interested in a wide range of natural science disciplines and has always been curious about the environment that surrounds her. Her role as an environmental consultant at 4Sight sees her routinely conducting site investigations for various projects, where she demonstrates her ability in problem solving and prioritising workloads to meet deadlines.
With a strong work ethic and ability to approach each new project with a positive outlook, Shannen is keen to get involved in any aspect of a project every step of the way.
