PAULA LOVES GUIDING PEOPLE THROUGH THE PLANNING PROCESS AND SHOWING THEM THAT IF THINGS ARE DONE PROPERLY, IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE HARD
With a friendly, down-to-earth approach, and attention to detail that ensures clients receive the best possible service, Paula joined the 4Sight team in August 2019 as our Bay of Plenty Regional Manager and as a Principal Planning and Policy Consultant.
Paula has over 18 years’ planning experience, including extensive national and international experience, having worked in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. She joins the 4Sight team from PMG Planning where she was both a Director, and Planner, since 2014 servicing a range of clients, including government departments, regional and district councils, and private clients. Prior to this, she has held managerial positions in local government planning teams and has spent many years working as a planning consultant in private practice.
Her expertise lies in preparing Assessments of Environment Effects, processing resource consent applications, and policy analysis and development. She also has significant experience in presenting reports and expert evidence at Council hearings and the Environment Court, and in reviewing and making submissions on planning policy at a national, regional, and district level.
She is a full member of the New Zealand Planning Institute and the Resource Management Law Association, and has a BA in Geography, Post Graduate Diploma in Arts (Geography), and a Diploma in Business from Otago University. She also has a Diploma in Business from Swinburne University in Melbourne.
Paula is excited by planning and enjoys helping people achieve what they want, whilst also ensuring good outcomes for the environment.
