Do you have:
-
Bachelor or Masters Degree in resource management planning or similar, preferably recognised by NZPI
-
A full member of NZPI or working towards full membership
-
5+ years of resource consent and planning experience in New Zealand
-
Knowledge and experience of applying the Resource Management Act to development and infrastructure
-
A good working knowledge of district and regional planning and consenting
-
Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
-
An aptitude for building and maintaining great relationships with clients and colleagues
-
A resilient and adaptable attitude; see yourself as a can-do person with a calm and confident communication style
-
Ability to work at a strategic level with core clients
-
Ability to translate strategic advice into deliverable work for clients
-
An understanding of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
-
A drive and passion to achieve outstanding results
We're looking for a Senior Planner that is up for a challenge and keen to get involved with a diverse range of projects across New Zealand. Working alongside a vibrant team, as the successful candidate, you will be assisting us in maintaining and growing 4Sight part of SLR's vision for the wider Planning team and our market reach within Dunedin and beyond by providing exceptional client and project management services to our expanding client base.
The opportunity to be involved in a mixture of projects including, policy development, undertaking planning due diligence, assisting local councils with processing resource consents and acquiring resource consents for a range of development projects is also on offer. Therefore, demonstrated experience in local government and private sector development projects is a must.
