We're looking for a Manager for our dedicated team of Planning professionals in Auckland, to lead and grow the team and contribute to the development of the wider Planning team across New Zealand.

Working alongside a vibrant team, you will be instrumental in driving through 4Sight's vision for the Planning team.  You will bring your exceptional people leadership skills, together with your technical Planning expertise to grow the team, and deliver high quality client management services to our expanding client base.

With one of the largest Planning teams in the country, we can offer an engaging and flexible working environment, with projects that achieve better outcomes for the environment and local communities.

Believe in better? We do, and so do our Clients. That’s why we were awarded Best Planning Firm (less than $30m revenue) at the annual Client Choice Awards 2022.

The role requires you to provide a high level of leadership, resource allocation, and client management across the Auckland Planning team. This will include oversight and direction of contractual arrangements, and supervision of project delivery to meet time and financial budgets, while achieving the client’s needs and a high degree of client satisfaction. You will be responsible for identifying resource requirements and assisting with the identification and recruitment of talented professionals, as well as facilitating the personal growth, performance and development of individual team members.

You will also be required to assist with other planning and policy projects across the business as needs dictate, and to contribute to the growth and development of the wider Planning and Policy team in accordance with the company’s purpose and values. There is also the opportunity to provide input into strategic planning processes, including the identification and development of new service offerings, and the acquisition of new clients.

Finally, a key element of this role will also be fostering a culture of collaboration and integration across the different areas of the business. You will be working closely with our Ecology, Landscape Architecture, Property and Environmental Services teams.

Our promise is to always be upfront, easy to deal with and to take a long-term view. It’s an approach that has fostered lasting relationships with our clients and fuelled our growth since 2001. It’s why we believe that we can offer the ideal environment for both clients and our people alike.  If you think we can thrive together, apply here now!

For more information or to have a confidential discussion please contact Nigel Bryce, National Planning Manager on 022 047 8500 or by email at nigelb@4sight.co.nz.

We can’t wait to hear from you and good luck!
