roslyn Metro offices and Townhouses
Developing a mixed-use office and housing precinct to act as a bookend to an existing Dunedin town centre.
Client: Highgate Roslyn Limited
Sector: Private
Services: Planning & Policy, Asbestos, Resource Consents
4Sight assisted the client in successfully obtaining freehold subdivision and land use resource consents to develop eight new sites as an extension to the Roslyn Town Centre. The consents also included the construction of new Metro offices and six townhouses, all of which were secured on a non-notified basis.
4Sight provided planning services, as well as asbestos services, in what was a complex resource consent application given the highly prominent, and irregular shaped corner site within the Roslyn Commercial and Mixed-Use Suburban Centre.
The development is a successful 'bookend' to the northern end of the town centre in Dunedin, and it's great to see the emergence of new higher density residential accommodation being established on the outskirts of the central city. In conjunction with this, it's also fantastic to see that developments of this nature can provide a positive contribution to the Dunedin cityscape.
