Born and raised in Tairāwhiti, Sarah joined the 4Sight Consulting Gisborne team as a Principal Planner and Regional Manager in March 2022.
Having worked in the planning industry for 22 years, primarily in regulatory planning within New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Australia, Sarah feels it is an exciting time to be part of the planning sector with much legislative change on the horizon.
A highly experienced Planner with expertise in the preparation and processing of resource consents, project management, stakeholder engagement, and district and regional planning, Sarah believes Tairāwhiti is experiencing a period of positive growth and development that will enhance the lives of the people of Turanga and the outlying communities. She is excited to be part of a team that contributes to the enrichment of communities and the environment around Aotearoa.
A busy mum of three children, when she's not in the office or out in the field, Sarah loves camping up around the East Coast during the summer and getting outdoors doing anything she can enjoy as a family. She also participates in CrossFit and owns a beautiful 1900's villa located on the banks of the Waimata River (only 5 minutes from the 4Sight office), which she is slowly renovating together with regenerating the riverbank and gardens which are home to many Kereru, Tui and Piwakawaka.
