Simon's strong technical leadership and string of successful consent acquisition programmes have given him quite the reputation. At 4Sight, he combines his academic background and extensive experience with parks and infrastructure projects to deliver statutory permits for millions of dollars of new assets each year.

 

Simon is a senior member of the 4Sight team and spends a lot of his time overseeing and mentoring junior staff. He is well versed in the high standards of consultation required for local government and private projects and encourages junior staff members at 4Sight to hold themselves to the highest possible standards.

 

Much of Simon's current focus is on park amenity and asset projects, from ecological restoration to coastal erosion protection and walking track developments. He also has significant experience in programme-level infrastructure delivery, through the Auckland Council stormwater programme and telco industry.

 

Simon is experienced in iwi, intra-government department and other stakeholder liaison. He has authored several papers on the public consultation process, which he has presented at national and international conferences.
