Zoe Psarouthakis

A lover of the outdoors and everything water related, Zoe is enthusiastic about her role in our busy Ecology team.

Zoe joined 4Sight in October 2022 as an Ecology Technician in the Ecology team, based in our Dunedin office. Zoe processes samples such as macroinvertebrate IDing, Chlorophyll a and Ash Free Dry Mass processing along with assisting in field work.

Having recently completed a Masters in Marine Science at the University of Otago and previously working at the New Zealand Marine Studies Centre, Zoe is enthusiastic to be working on a range of projects in the laboratory of our Dunedin office. She completed her undergraduate studies at Lawrence University in Wisconsin, USA focusing on limnology.

Outside of work, Zoe loves going tramping, so much so that in 2022 she hiked solo for five weeks covering the Te Araroa trail from Queen Charlotte to Lake Coleridge. When there is not time for a tramping adventure, she also loves baking, bird watching, and foraging.
